Reproduction of the moon jelly

Moon jellies live in the North Sea and the Dutch Delta. In May and June we see them massively. The moon jellyfish does not simply drift along with the current. They can actually swim in a specific direction and avoid obstacles. They fold their bodies together and through the contracting motion they create their propulsion.
