Eel returns home

The migration of the eel is one of the major migrations across the oceans. Countless glass eels also reach the Dutch coast every year. Due to the improved facilities in the sluices and pumping stations, more and more glass eels succeed in taking that last barrier. After which the eels can grow up peacefully in our polder.
